Cancellation Policy

Ocean Odyssey, Inc will accept written cancellations only. Listed below are the monetary responsibilities in the event of cancellation:

• 30 days or more to departure: Full refund available.
• 29 - 15 days prior to departure: 30% deposit is forfeited.
• 14 days or less to departure: Cancellations that occur within this time are responsible for full payment of ticket fee regardless of reason for cancellation including change of proposed destination by Ocean Odyssey Sportfishing.

Ocean Odyssey’s Right to Cancel or Amend Trip Prior to Departure or During Voyage

Cancellation of the individual fare will immediately ensue and all funds collected will be forfeited under the following circumstances:

• Failure to deliver funds according to payment schedule. In this event, all funds will be forfeited in accordance with Ocean Odyssey, Inc. Individual Cancellation Policy.

• Failure to appear by date and time in contract without proper cancellation procedure as stated in the individual cancellation policy. In this event, the individual will be responsible to pay full balance of the fare.

• Ocean Odyssey, Inc reserves the right to substitute another vessel, cancel or amend any trip including destination with the occurrence of circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to: inclement weather, government regulation, mechanical failure, and other unforeseen circumstances. If such circumstances arise and amendment of trip occurs, Charter price shall be appropriately adjusted as solely determined by Ocean Odyssey, Inc. If such circumstances arise and cancellation of trip occurs within 2 days of scheduled Departure Date there will be a refund of monies previously paid less all costs already incurred by Ocean Odyssey, Inc. to date not including cost of reusable items such as fuel.

• Once the vessel departs port, the Captain and Ocean Odyssey,Inc are responsible for all decisions concerning safety and inclement weather. If the decision is made by the captain or Ocean Odyssey, Inc to cut a trip short due to a safety issue or unfavorable weather conditions, a credit will be given based upon the number of days remaining in the trip. If a trip is cut short due to a decision made by the chartering group, no refund will be available.

Ocean Odyssey, Inc reserves the right to cancel any trip due to an insufficient number of passengers.
