This morning the captain and crew of Ocean Odyssey Were Recognized by the United States Coast Guard for the man overboard rescue that they performed on July 28, 2021. While they are being hailed as heros, it's a job that they train for and is all in the line of duty. It is a very large ocean and finding that swimmer in the sea state presented was one in a million.

The crew scans the water tirelessly every day looking for any irregularities, so searching for a person was literally what they were trained for. When the swimmer was spotted, the captain and crews man overboard training kicked into gear and he was quickly brought aboard safe and sound.

Ocean Odyssey getting some love this year. It takes a lot of work to keep an A+ vessel like the Double-O in tip-top shape.

Rick checked in for the Ocean Odyssey out of San Diego. They had a nice trip with day 1 producing 32 bluefin tuna. Day 2 they went keeping and found 7 yellowfin tuna, 13 dorado, and some skipjack. Rick has the current fish report for you below.

The Ocean Odyssey docked up this morning from the Izorline sponsored trip with 49 bluefin tuna, 80+ on the yellowfin tuna and some dorado and yellowtail.

Rick checked in for the Ocean Odyssey out of San Diego with the latest. They had limits of bluefin tuna on day 1 with 10 yellowfin tuna. Today they slid down to the yellowfin tuna grounds and had a stop for 18 and some dorado. They are on the hunt for more now, stand by.
